Working with D4VD is always a really fun, collaborative process! We really wanted to match the ground to his music video for “Where’d It Go Wrong” that we shot in Tennessee where the landscape was green and lush. We found the perfect circle of trees but there was no greenery as it was the middle of Winter so my team and I laid down 500ft of sod, used environment friendly grass paint to brighten up the sod, and hand planted 4000 white roses and 2000 white roses we withered the night before.

D4VD wanted to incorporate the number “4” and string theory in the video, so my team hand dyed 1000 ft of rope to the perfect shade and had background blindfolded with gauze cross over his body to create the shape.
